My Heart, My Greed, My Love

The act of expression in a manipulable medium can allow for the inclusion of a structure- but the critical element is whether that structure is imposed, hypothetical, anchored in the elements expressed, or developed from the rough elements of the expression in an attempt at personal meditation.

Unfortunately, abstraction of the conditions the expressed humanity exists within reduces the applicability of the meditation or the expression (but it does open it up to greater comparison and allows a wider range of readers to relate to it better.)

And in the differences between this description and the work itself I seek to create a tension that will illuminate both of them. Perhaps much like a relationship between two people.
